Restaurant Reviews in a Nutshell
As someone who loves a good Italian meal, I discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant that I cannot stop raving about, some time ago. Located in Cross Point Mall, this fancy restaurant offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere that transports you straight to Sicily.
Romantic Restaurants in Gurgaon- the Ambience
The talented chefs at the Pasta Bowl Company have mastered the art of creating authentic Sicilian dishes with a modern twist. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces will have your mouth watering. One of my top restaurants in Gurgaon, I often order in from here and have also visited it on a few occasions. The candlelit ambience makes it one of the best restaurants in Gurgaon for couples to go on date night, or to impress a first date!
Charcuterie Board
The last time I dined at the Pasta Bowl Company, I tried the charcuterie board which had delicate slices of prosciutto, chorizo, pepperoni and salmon, served with some freshly baked bread and crackers. A tasty mayo dip and pesto, as well as olives added a nice balance of flavour to the entire appetizer, which was enjoyed with some wine.
Red Sauce Pasta- Tortellini Puttanesca
One of my go to dishes at this fancy restaurant (when I order in) is the tortellini puttanesca. This is a dish that is as bold and fiery as the streets of Naples. This pasta is a symphony of flavours – briny olives, pungent garlic, tangy capers, and spicy chili flakes. The plump and tender tortellini provides the perfect canvas for these bold flavours to dance on your palate.
The plump tortellini is filled with creamy ricotta and spinach, providing the perfect balance to the robust puttanesca sauce. The sauce is a combination of fresh tomatoes, garlic, olives, and capers that are simmered until they create a fragrant and aromatic sauce.
The dish is finished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and a generous grating of Parmesan cheese. Perfect for when you want to indulge yourself on a night in with Netflix!
Red Sauce Pasta- Amatriciana Pasta
This time however, I decided to try the Amatriciana pasta. I was craving it after watching it on a cooking show that day (of course!). The combination of tomato sauce, pork pecorino cheese, and chili flakes wss simply divine.
Created in the small town of Amatrice in the Lazio region of Italy, this classic pasta dish is a true representation of the local produce. The dish is simple yet flavourful, with each ingredient adding its own unique taste to the overall dish.
What I especially enjoy is how the Pasta Bowl Company takes special care to serve their pasta al dente, or ‘to the tooth.’ Firm, and chewy, this is the way pasta is meant to be cooked.
This was one of the highlights of the night for me.
Other Pasta Orders
My friends ordered the lasagna, and the spaghetti carbonara. While the former was a bit too dense and cheesy (I prefer my pasta on the red rather than white side), I was blown away by the sheer creaminess and buttery flavours of the carbonara. I never order carbonaras myself, but I’m open to doing so when at this fancy restaurant.
Top Restaurants in Gurgaon- the Service
The attentive and friendly staff will make you feel right at home and the intimate setting is perfect for a special occasion or a date making it one of the top restaurants in Gurgaon, which maintains a quiet and rustic vibe.
Fancy Restaurants- The Price
While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience is worth it. If you’re looking for a memorable Italian dining experience, this is the place to be.

Already my mouth is watering. The smell of freshly baked breads reminds of me a place i visited and I was amazed to feel the flavour. As you wrote Sicilian dishes with a modern twist, I really want to now try these dishes as except some familiar dishes I have never tried one.
I wish I was in Gurgaon. What a wonderful curation of restaurants! Very useful indeed!
I love ristorante. Such a sophisticated option for Italian fine dining. Definitely going to visit with my family.
The photos of the food had me drooling and I would love to try out the restaurant if I visit Gurgaon with my husband. The ambience also seems great. The Charcutarie board looks very tempting.
Pasta once arrived in my life as a live saviour when I was tremendously tired and hungry and looking for a affordable and etable food for this poor Indian exploring Venice as traveller. Me and my husband was walking through the lanes of Venice and reading the menu cards and price in Euro tagged outside the restaurants. The price was heart breaking and we thought to walk a little more in search of hope… then we heard a person shouting outside a restaurant in Indian accent …. Pasta…Pasta come and have it in our restaurant with colorful and lively ambience….. Now I hold my husbands hand tight indicating let’s try it … looking at my face he agreed and we entered the restaurant… the pasta price looked little affordable to us and we ordered a single plate.. althoug my hubby experienced pasta before but not me…… finally it was served and I was like a hungry lion picked some with the fork and put in my mouth…… OH that’s a divine feeling and my heart blessed that fellow man who is still calling more customers outside the restaurant door. That’s how I got introduced to pasta and now your list of pastas at this wonderful restaurant in Gurgaon is calling me… and I am going to visit it for sure… Thanks for the recommendation
